A console that won't play a disc may have a drive fault, but a scratched or dirty disc can look the same. Describe what happens so the diagnostic can tell them apart.
A disc won't eject
The eject button does nothing, or a disc stays inside. Don't force it out with a tool; tell us what happened before it stuck.

Disc drive work is listed only for consoles with a drive. Include the exact model and, for a PS5 Digital Edition or PS5 Pro, whether Sony's separate disc drive is attached. The original PS5 Digital Edition (CFI-1000) can't use it.

The PS5 Pro has no built-in disc drive: it reads discs only with Sony's separate Disc Drive attached.
The PS5 Digital Edition has no built-in disc drive. The slim model (CFI-2000 and CFI-2100) reads discs only with Sony's separate Disc Drive attached; the original (CFI-1000) can't use that drive.
