Understand the options

Common repairs and recovery requests

Here is how we approach the faults and file-access problems behind these requests, from checking the device to confirming the work.

Cracked smartphone beside a loose replacement display and precision repair tools

Cracked iPhone screens

The problem
Cracked glass, missed taps, flickering or dark patches after a drop.
How we assess it
We check the display, touch response and frame, then look for other damage that affects the repair. The exact iPhone model determines the screen options and price.
Getting started
Compare the screen options for your model and tell us what stopped working. We confirm the repair and quote before arranging service.

iPhone batteries that no longer last

The problem
Fast battery drain, sudden percentage drops or shutdowns while the battery indicator still shows charge.
How we assess it
We review battery health and shutdown behavior, and check whether charging or software is contributing to the problem. Battery replacement starts with confirming the fault.
Getting started
Check your model’s battery price and describe how the phone behaves between charges. Back up a usable phone before the repair.

Phones that only charge at an angle

The problem
Charging cuts out when the cable moves, the plug feels loose, or wireless charging works while the cable does not.
How we assess it
We check the cable, charger and connector fit, then inspect the port. Packed lint, damaged contacts and other charging faults need different repairs.
Getting started
Send the phone model and the checks you have already tried. We explain whether the next step is cleaning, a port assembly or soldered repair.

PS5 consoles with no picture

The problem
The console powers on but the TV reports no signal, or the connection cuts out after the HDMI cable moves.
How we assess it
We check the cable and display, inspect the HDMI port and review how the console starts. A confirmed damaged port requires soldered work at the bench.
Getting started
Tell us the PS5 model, power behavior and what happened before the picture disappeared. We confirm the fault, repair quote and intake arrangements.

Important photos on a phone that will not turn on

The problem
The phone has stopped powering on and the photos you need are missing from your cloud account or backups.
How we assess it
We review the model, damage, earlier repairs or resets and available copies. Phone recovery depends on the condition of the original hardware and the device’s security and encryption.
Getting started
Tell us which photos matter and what happened to the phone. We discuss intake, the assessment findings and a recovery quote before you approve work.

Closed external USB drive and unplugged cable beside a laptop on a workbench

External drives that stop appearing

The problem
The drive lights up without appearing in the file browser, disconnects repeatedly or asks to be formatted.
How we assess it
We review connection and power symptoms, error messages, physical damage, backups and previous attempts. Preserving the existing data comes first when the files cannot be replaced.
Getting started
Send the drive model, symptoms and the files you need most. We assess the device and explain the available options and quote before recovery work.

Documents on a computer that will not start

The problem
A laptop or desktop will not boot, and its drive holds recent documents that are missing from your backup.
How we assess it
We review startup symptoms, drive access, encryption and earlier attempts, then identify the folders and versions that matter most. Encrypted drives may require their recovery key.
Getting started
Tell us the computer model, priority files and the copies you already have. We discuss file recovery separately from restoring the computer to working order.
