At DeviceBytes LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use GameLynx, our golf matchmaking mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

GameLynx helps golfers create profiles, discover compatible golfers, view nearby players, add golf memberships and outings, and communicate through in-app messaging. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Account and contact information — such as your name, email address, phone number, username, and login credentials or verification information.
Profile information — such as profile photo, bio, gender, date of birth or age, golf preferences, pace of play, cart preferences, simulator preference, music preference, handicap, average score, and other information you choose to add.
Golf information — such as golf memberships, course names, golf outings, scores, round details, and course-related location information you submit.
Location information — such as precise or approximate location coordinates when you allow location access, enter an address, or use map and nearby golfer features.
User content — such as profile photos, chat messages, reports, support requests, and other content you upload or send through the Service.
Contacts permission data — if you choose to grant contacts access, the app may use contacts-related functionality to help you find or invite people. We only use this data for the feature you request.
Device, usage, and diagnostic information — such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, log data, feature interactions, crash or performance information, and other analytics used to operate and improve the Service.
Advertising information — if ads are displayed, advertising partners may process limited device, usage, or ad interaction data according to their own policies and your device settings.

How We Use Information

Provide, operate, maintain, and improve GameLynx.
Create and manage your account and profile.
Match golfers by location, skill, preferences, availability, memberships, and golf activity.
Show maps, nearby golfers, course-related information, and distance-based recommendations.
Enable in-app chat, safety tools, support, reporting, and moderation.
Personalize the app experience and improve recommendations.
Analyze usage trends, performance, and reliability.

Location Data

GameLynx uses location information to support nearby golfer discovery, map features, distance-based matching, and golf course or outing features. You can control location access through your device settings. Some features may not work properly if location access is disabled or if you do not provide a location.

Photos, Messages, and User Content

You may upload profile photos, enter profile details, submit golf information, and send messages to other users. Other users may see information that you make part of your profile or send through the Service. We may review user content when needed for support, safety, moderation, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
